Below are a few early comics by the French cartoonist Serge Clerc. For the most part, these were created before he fully formed his later style that's usually referred to as the "atomic style", which is based on a retro clean clear line that was also adopted by Joost Swarte and Yves Chaland. Sadly, there have been very few comics by Clerc that have been translated into English. Below are stories that appeared in the early issues of Heavy Metal magazine. Outside of these stories his Sam Bronx character was reprinted in English by Eclipse Books in 1989, I recommend tracking it down as it's more representative of his mature style.
